Maple Valley Farmers’ Market is "The Saturday Morning Place to Be!" Our vibrant outdoor market is your perfect Saturday destination. MVFM offers only Washington State seasonal farm and ranch products, including: freshly-picked, tasty, healthy fruits and vegetables; grass-fed beef; cheese; eggs; milk; honey; and flowers. Bread, baked goods, prepared foods, and artisans' handcrafted quality items are also sold. Cooking demos, live music, special events and seasonal celebrations are scheduled throughout the 17-week market season. Come and experience the small-town, welcoming atmosphere in the heart of Maple Valley!

Chili Competition on September 11th

When the Maple Valley Farmers’ Market Board of Director's began advertising a sponsorship opportunity for the chili competition, a number of local businesses expressed initial interest, but Ross Olive, State Farm Insurance at Four Corners Safeway Plaza, dove right into the chili sponsorship, noting that he felt it was a great opportunity to be part of this inaugural annual event and, anyway, he loves a good chili! Olive stated that that it is important that local businesses support these types of events, as they are the cornerstone of our community.

While Olive has arranged for prizes, including $100 1st place, $75 2nd place and $50 3rd place, along with trophies and surprises for the winners and participants, the chili cook-off will also serve as a fundraiser for the Farmers’ Market. For a $5.00 donation, the public will be able to sample the cooked chili, and these funds will help to fund the operational costs of running a non-profit 501c3 Farmers' Market.
